Wondering whether to upgrade my ageing Olympus C-5050, while it's still worth something during trade-in. Was thinking:
Panasonic TZ3
Panasonic LX1/LX2
Canon G9
Ricoh GR Digital / 2
Ricoh GX100
Fuij F100fd (forthcoming)
Raw shooter, with a hotshoe would be ideal. Size (nothing bigger than a G9) and image quality paramount: anyone have any suggestions for the shortlist or can share any gems of wisdoms about any of the above?

I think it's worth waiting for more details on the F100fd - it looks interesting, but how will it perform?
I wish a manufacturer would release a high quality compact with usable ISO 800/1600. More chance if they stuck to 5 or 6 MP. 12MP on a compact sensor is pointless and does more to harm performance than to improve it.

Do you need RAW and/or manual settings?
I can highly recommend the forthcoming Panasonic Lumix TZ5 - I have posted some samples over at DPNow here:
Selected Fujis have superb performance at high ISOs - I have a two year old F11 and it's still very good in this respect. Most other manufacturers are now catching up.
