Nice image. Wonder if works as a monochrome?

I now understand why this has been subject to such controversy - nice image and a startling sculpture

Thanks Nick - I think the controversy stems from the location as much as anything else. It's midway between Aldeburgh and Thorpeness on an unspoiled shingle beach, and a few local feel it detracts from the scenery. Personally, I disagree!

A so often seen image that makes it hard to do and get something special.

This a a very good shot, with good use of the light. Composition is good. I do however prefer it when I crop the top and left to give the subject just a bit more presence in the frame

Thanks Graham. It also works quite well as vertical crop. Someone was kind enough to use it for some concert posters & programmes as a vertical.
