Re: Another car park pic.

Fabulous catch but maybe needs a play on the RAW editing to make it stand out a bit more - the red seems a bit dull for example.
Once you start capturing the wing movements it's just amazing seeing some of the results - some even evoke the old days of a lady and her fan shyly hiding her face!! I've got some fab ones with the gulls but many with the head blurred, etc., but hopefully I'll post some more as well in the next day or so.

Look forward to seeing more like this - I can't ever imagine being a twitcher but I do find capturing the birds in flight a really good challenge. Well done.
Chris

Dave, nice shot on a fast moving target. I like the way you have caught the wings foreward. I don't know what the natural colors are, so can't comment on how the red chest is for color. I also did a hand crop of making it a vertical and think you might give that a try. I thought it gave a the image a little less background distraction. I'm impressed.

Dave

Yes very nice.I tend to agree with Danny about the crop.I Think it would give it more impact.

I assume this is with the 300m and the teleconvertor and by the way the background is blured in the vertical plane you were moving downwards.Must be a lump to pan with.

Well done.

Thanks Danny, I will try the crop. Colour is a little drab but the chest of the bird is in shade.

Thanks Andy.
Yes, 300mm plus 1.4 converter. It is a lump, hence the use of a gimbal head, makes it a little easier to move it around.
