Cool Olympus E-1 HLD-2 grip give-aways -the details

50 (yes fifty!) HLD-2 power grips for E-1s up for grabs!

After giving away fifty BLM-1 batteries to e-group site members in the last two months, we have an astounding opportunity for the E-1 e-group stalwarts. Yes, you have a great chance of claiming a free HLD-2 battery grip for your E-1, complete with BLL-1 battery and BCL-1 charger.

All you need to do to have a chance of claiming a HLD-2 grip is to become (or continue to be!) an active member of the e-group.uk.net community here.

UK/Ireland offer only, sorry!
Please note that this offer is only available to residents of the UK, plus Ireland as it is being organised by Olympus UK. I'm sorry if you are an overseas visior disappointed by this limitation, but I hope you will understand.

This is what you need to do
1. If you aren't already a member, register on the site - it's free!

2. Join in the discussions here - we're looking for at least ten meaningful posts from you between now and the end of February - which shouldn't be that hard, should it? (Update: we'll be flexible on this for latecomers )

3. Open an e-group gallery and post some of your photography on the site. Upload at least five decent shots by the end of February. (Update: we'll be flexible on this for latecomers )

4. Use the Contact form linked from the bottom of the page to register your interest in claiming a free HLD-2 power grip. Make sure you get an acknowledgment from us.
And that's it.

If there are more claims than available grips, there is a possibility we can obtain a few extra units. If we have to disappoint some, the selection will be made purely by random number generation on computer.

Official terms and conditions for this offer will be posted separately.

If you have any questions, just post them in this thread!

And here are some shots of what you could enhance your E-1 with:

It's end of line stock. I was approached by Oly UK to offer these up, so once again thanks goes to them!

And I have netted a fantastic competition prize for Four Thirds User (http://fourthirds-user.com), which is one of our other sites (more international focus) which we will be revealing at the weekend - a Top Pro Digital Zuiko lens worth over £1,000 - can you guess which it is?

This will see a nice boost to the forums activity over the next couple of weeks.
The lens wouldn't be the new SWD 50-200 zoom would it?
