One of the highlights of Barrie's and my recent trip to Norfolk was these delightful seals. They were certainly enjoying their day on the beach and I'm sure some of them were smiling at us - one even managed a wave!
I hope you enjoy looking at my pix as much as I did photographing the scenes.
It's as natural to me as for other people eating pig meat... or bread.
It was a part of my normal food ever since I was a baby... and hunting was an integrated part of my daily life from 5 years of age.... along with fishing of course.
What it comes down to, is cultural differences. I always prefer natural meat that I have killed personally, over supermarket plastic wrapped, colour enhanced, full of medicine rests and conservants etc.
Being raised up in a community where it was normal for children to help out with slaughtering and processing the meat of sheep, horses, cows etc. it only comes through as normal for me to consider animals as food. Be it monkeys, crocodiles, snakes, pelicans... anything at all actually... as you can see in [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XP-JC9HJtbM"]this video[/ame] of me fine dining.
Sometimes it is safer to shoot with a camera... and absolutely less bloody

This man's a carnivore! For goodness sake nobody post a picture of a whale while he's online - it'll give him indigestion!

Smashing set of pictures, Annie, I particularly like No 1.

Thought I might be - bet you can't eat a whole one!
