I will be contacting everyone above personally to ask them to provide me with a file of their image for printing on to A4 (with border) for final judging. The judging panel will be revealed shortly.

Wow! How do you pick a winner out of that lot? Glad I didn't enter, I've nothing that compares. Good luck to all the finalists; every one would be a worthy winner.

Hope I can come up with something suitable when we have an E-P1 competition!

I received the final image for printing yesterday, so we can now proceed the final judging stage. This is dependent on booking a convenient time with the judges to examine prints of the finalists' work. I will keep you updated.

I know it has been a long wait, but it's nearly over. I'm very pleased to announce that the editor of Amateur Photographer magazine, Damien Demolder, has agreed to be our judge and to choose the winner from the final twelve images. Damien is an accomplished photographer and camera collector in his own right, and before joining AP he was a professional photographer. Damien is exhibiting his work alongside well known landscape photographer, Charlie Waite

Damien has the finalists' images in printed form and he will also be looking at the online images in the gallery. He has promised that the winner will be chosen within the next 7 days.

The next update will be concerning who is the winner!
