  • CORRECTION! - An afternoon (not evening) with Barry Lategan 17th December

Four Thirds User (Fourthirds-user.com) is a sibling site to the e-group.

You have the chance to meet veteran photographer, Barry Lategan, at an event dedicated to his work, hosted by Calumet in London. There are also special deals on Olympus gear on the evening, and you will get the chance to try out the new E-30 DSLR. It all happens on 17th December.

Re: An AFTERNOON with Barry Lategan 17th December

Just an update on this. Olympus' DSLR product manager will be at the event and most of the Olympus lens range, and an E-30, will be at the event for everyone to try.

I've been asked if I can gauge how many people from the e-group will be attending. I hope to be there.

Barry Lategan, is a most interesting character. He will most likely take a picture of you

Not sure I can make it even though I would like to, the release says from 3pm but for how long? is there a time table?

Also do you have to pre-register

      Cheers

My mistake - it's an afternoon event, not evening - 3PM to about 6PM. There may be some food and refreshments towards the end of the afternoon.

Just turn up - anyone is welcome.

        I think it's pretty informal.

            Hi Ian -

Anne and I would like to thank you - we had a great afternoon/evening and enjoyed the company of Barry Lategan and the Olympus team headed by Mark Thackara.

            Kindest regards. Barr1e

              Ian,

Please pass on to the Olympus Team my thanks for putting on such a truly memorable event. Barry Lategan was simply incredible and there was such a personal interaction that I came away feeling honoured to have met him.

Barry and model Nicola Achilleas yesterday.

This is using the E-30 creative filter mode for black and white film grain.
