  • 50-200 NON SWD value ?

I'm not sure where to post this so sorry if it is on the wrong place...
I have a 50-200 non SWD that just isn't getting used so am thinking of selling it but seem to be struggling to find any examples of recently sold ones to base a price on.
    Anyone got any ideas ?
It comes with tripod mount and hood, both caps and is in very good nick - no marks to the glass and only a few to the hood, plus a Hoya filter, but no box or pouch.
Seeing as how I have been helped out by a couple of members on here I would be happy to sell it on to someone here at a good price rather then ask top dollar, so if anyone is interested then please say and I'll get a couple of pictures posted.

I am also aware that the new 40-150 and TC seem to be closer to reality which may lower prices, so bear that in mind if you are hovering....

Have a look on ebay sold items.

Steve - I've been looking recently and I think something around the £375-£400 mark is about right. There is (was) one at LCE for £369, but that had no hood or tripod mount. Your's sounds like a nice one and I would have paid £400, but I've now managed to find one in the US and since I'm there next week I can save a little since prices are generally a little softer there. I found an SWD version for $600 dollars which I was sorely tempted to get, but it had the most terrible graunching marks on the mount that, despite the seller's claims, I can't imagine wouldn't have been an issue (if only for potential re-sale).

Well, I've already committed to one, so too late! I hope that I'm not making a mistake by not spending a bit more on the SWD version.

              Ah well.....
I actually missed the bit in your post about your new lens being an SWD (I also made a mitake when buying mine as I was so new to the whole 4/3rds and MFT thing that I didn't notice that mine was a NON SWD.
That said, ah truly believe (said in a gospel-type preacher accent) that you are making a mistake and taking mine would be a way better idea, especially at £350 !!
