  • "Hey, boys." "Yeah, what!?

    "OK, I'm bored now."

"Look who's inside!" (behind the dog scratched glass door)

    "Yeah, I'm lookin'!"

Don't worry, it wasn't really like that, but I had to find something to go with these photos.

Taken with Olympus Stylus 1 with diffused FL36R flash.

Some soulful looks you're getting there, Ross.

Are you sure those scratches aren't on your Stylus1 lens, but I love the dof you got!

Nice set, Ross, but No 3 is just the sort of dog I'd like to own myself.

Soulful, or 'Do we have to look?" might be more to the point.

I was showing an old(er) DSLR user the Stylus 1 & he asked if I could fit a UV filter to it. I said I could if I added the adapter tube (for the telephoto add on lens), but then it wouldn't be compact any more. He was adamant he wouldn't want a camera he couldn't fit a filter to (to avoid scratches) & couldn't be convinced a compact doesn't necessarily need that filter (for normal use), but that tube is available if I want to use a polarising filter though. That's a well scratched glass door with all the dogs we've had here (especially when they lived outside but now they or one of them sleep on our bed).

Thanks John. Border Collies are lovely dogs.

I'm back again to show you who Toby was looking at (through the dirty scratched glass door).

My grandson who was visiting us.

Thanks Chevvy. Actually, Jake in the first photo (a Cocker Spoodle), looks totally different now that he's had a short haircut. We keep taking a second look & reminding ourselves he's had his hair cut & yes, he is Jake.
