Just seeing what I can do

We are away in Wiltshire at the mom. Just playing cause I can.

Taken today ,converted to jpeg in camera as I can't upload raw to my Android.Uploaded to my tablet and edited in Pixar express.

Part of a series to nine images in caf using the 50_200.

Not really sure if the image is very sharp on my 7 inch screen, more of an experiment to see what I could do

Now I'm home here's the same picture edited by more traditional measures.

Better I think but nice to know what you can do while travelling without a computer.

Re: Just seeing what I can do

Have you calibrated your tablet?
Is that in fact even possible?
Have you calibrated your screen at home?
Does anyone here calibrate their screens?

my main PC screen (the one I use for all my photo-processing) is calibrated regularly.

I always calibrate at night with the curtains drawn and my daylight bulb in the room light providing the ambient lighting ( I don't think one can ever be too anal about colour control! )

Ditto. I think it's essential if you are after accurate PP or printing. Of course once the image is in the wild, www, then you have no further control but at least you have created a true base.
