    I was taken with this very dapper bloke having a fag outside The Oxford in Edinburgh on a drab day.

    And this is him in colour. I thought this would enhance the dapperness, but it's a technique I'm not overly fond of and I don't think it works here:




    EDIT : When I say "I was taken with this bloke...." I don't mean "I was taken with this bloke" in that way.

    I prefer your original conversion - very good. I used to sup in there when I worked on George Street in the late '80s.

              Most used: EM5i + 12-200mm, In briefcase: E-PM2 + 12-42mmEZ

                      Excellent opportunist capture.

                      Normally I'd say straight mono every time but I am drawn to the third version as well.

                            Straight mono for me as well. Talking of "straight," with regard to your edit about being taken with this guy - it's OK, we are a very liberal-minded forum and you really don't have to explain!

                              It's No 1 for me too closely followed by the colour pop version. Great capture.
