  • Slimbridge Wetlands Centre

Today we visited Slimbridge Wetland Centre. Could hardly miss it as it's about 2 miles from our caravan site. We waited until today, though, in the hope that there would be less people as the school term has now started (in most areas anyway).

Most of these were taken with the E-M5 and 75-300mm with a few taken with the 14-150mm.

First of all a swan take off series taken while panning the camera:

There are three otters in the Wetland Centre. We got there just as they were being fed:

    Sundry other birds:

    And finally another swan shot:

    As always, comments/criticism welcome.

The Moorhen shot is superb, perfectly exposed and the detail is great.
    Thanks

Thanks Tim, John and Ed. Bird photography is not really my forté, but at least there are plenty of birds to choose from at Slimbridge!
