Dunstable downs at sunset

Taken on a recent trip to the downs at sunset. Again with 12-60.

Re: Dunstable downs at sunset

Wonderful colors! And great composition.

And it's so nice to see hills where people live. Florida is so flat you could probably roll a marble from on side to other with just one shove. Unless of course an alligator eats it.

Chrs, Stv

Re: Dunstable downs at sunset

Afraid I don't like either of them Shirley. The first is very lacklustre and the second , the sky is overdone. Sorry to be negative. Saying they are good does not do you any favours.

Re: Dunstable downs at sunset

Thank you Malcolm, I appreciate honest feedback. The second image had very little adjustment, it was a stunning sunset, do you think I should have desaturated it?
I see what you mean about the first one.
I live about 5 mins drive from this spot and I keep going back, often at a moments notice when conditions look promising. I am convinced there is a good image in the area somewhere - I just have to find it. I will keep trying.
Thanks again for taking time to critique - much appreciated.
