Thanks Mark, but I like grub holes, it adds some characterOriginally posted by pandora View PostNice shots and a great lens demonstration, HUW.
But you might at least have cloned out the grub hole...
Thanks Nick, I'm confident it's going to be very usefulOriginally posted by Nick Temple-Fry View PostLike the first two.
Looks like a useful lens

Doh! I should try to keep up. There was me thinking Grub Holes was the name of some terribly modern HiFi speaker ...Originally posted by Greytop View PostThanks Mark, but I like grub holesLook, I'm an old man. I shouldn't be expected to put up with this.

Speakers.... sold... I want a pairOriginally posted by snaarman View Post"Grub Holes" speakers..
Twigs.. yes it does them nicely, there is some very slight fringing at 12mm but no worst than my 12-60, or I should rephrase that, it's in the same class or better than the 12-60 (in my opinion) though obviously without the ultimate reach.
No matter I will definitely be looking seriously at the 35-100 too when it's released

Re: A few shots with a new lens...
Did Pete just ask you about images shot against a "bright sky"? What country does he think we're living in! Mind you, today looks a bit better .....
Enjoy the new lens and please only post more info if you find snags: don't need to be persuaded to buy it thank you very much.
Cheers,
Jon

For Pete from yesterday, bright sky and garden foliage test shot. Apologies for the lack of artistic endeavour
You'll have to take my word that the twigs are suitably crisp against the clouds
