Here are a selection of images from a walk near Ipsden on the edge of the Chilterns taken that day. All with the E-PL2 and 14-150...

Didcot power station's cooling towers can be seen in the distance.

I love these little walks you take us on, Huw seeing all through your eyes.

Looking at those apples I can only imagine that it would be a good time for scrumping, eh? ...

And btw we have here but a few miles distant, our Chiltern Forest NP so I shall take you along there soon.

Thanks Mark, I'm glad you enjoyed these
Actually this particular apple tree was almost in the middle of nowhere in a sense that it obviously wasn't cultivated, so borrowing a couple of apples wasn't a problem
I'll keep an eye out for your Chiltern Forest photos Mark

                Re: Unseasonal weather for November

Our Chiltern is likely way different to yours but at one time or another a felonious countrymen of yours (sent here for scrumping apples, no doubt) must have seen something to remind him of home, hence it was so named.

Anyway, I'm glad to have this opportunity to add that it was not only your scenery that I enjoyed but also the long overdue exercise to keep fit - my legs are aching already, Huw.

Very nice set of images, good exposure and detail. Reminds me very much of the "Cliff" countryside of where I live in Lincolnshire, similarly at it's best at this time of the year. It always gratifies me that we photographers will always find beauty and interest whatever the season or weather, whereas some other mortals are all too ready to scorn the conditions and retire to the sofa! Long may it continue.

                  David

PS: must save up for a m4/3 set-up!

Sadly Mark that may not be far from the truth...

Good to hear, it's always good to get out in the fresh air.
                    We really enjoy our walks

I agree with you, getting out and about is good for the soul (I think). A good walk as many benefits, not least a degree of fitness and for me photographic opportunities too
m4/3rds adds a different dimension to kit size which can be a boon if you don't want to lug around the heavier gear. I find that I'm probably using both in equal measure now but have to honest that I still feel more comfortable photographing with my larger gear.
                    Regards Huw
