Indoor and Outdoor flash on E1

These are settings i used in the above circumstances for weddings. They may be of interest to users.

E1 and FL50

Indoor

Auto flash (no symbol)
ESP
"A" for Aperture on camera
ISO Auto
Set flash to TTL Auto


Outdoor

Set flash to fill (lightning symbol)
ESP
'P'
White balance auto
ISO Auto
No exposure compensation
Set flash to FP TTL Auto by mode button flash.

Always experiment before use

The info was for FL50 not sure if applicable to FL36

I use the same settings as these. I know you were talking about weddings, but for more general outdoor scenes with traffic, fairground rides etc. the E1 flash setting can be changed to "slow" or usually better "slow 2nd curtain".
