Hi, I'm from the States and came across your forum and was impressed. I just purchased a used Olympus e-510 based on consumer reports from 2008 and received it yesterday. It came with the 40-150mm and 11-44mm lenses, a battery and charger, original box, manuals and software. I paid $450 US which seemed like a good price and can't wait to start using it. I was startled to find that it had a shutter actuation of 18,000 which was higher than expected. I'm looking for some advice on whether I should keep it or send it back (I have 14days). It also had a damage code 3B83 which I'm trying to gather information on. I would appreciate any feedback or advice. I plan on getting another one even if i do send it back so plan on participating and posting images. Thanks!
Mike

As for your camera 18,000 shutter actuations is nothing! The only thing that would concern me would be that code as I have no idea what it means, no doubt someone will be a long soon who can shine some light on the matter
