I'd recommend the Panasonic 25mm f1.4. It's a cracking lens, even when shot wide open.

If you don't mind going 5mm longer, the Sigma 30mm f1.4 is an excellent lens and much cheaper than the Panasonic 25mm.

The 1.4 is supposed to be lovely but the 1.7 is so much cheaper - I love mine though don't use it as much as perhaps I should.

I’ve had the s30 and it’s great but a bit longer than I want Think I might offload my Helios and p20 to make way for whatever I get

If you have Sigma 30 f/1.4 and Panasonic 20 f/1.7 you seem to have most bases covered. Not sure why you'd want a 25mm ...

I’ve had the sigma, I don’t have it anymore as I sold it when I left m43 18 months ago.
I’d sell the p20 too in order to fund a p25 F1.4 if that’s considered a “better” choice. I guess that’s more in line with a 35 f1.8 on a Nikon

I don't think that 1/2 stop difference is the main consideration, however the PL 25 f/1.4 draws really beautifully. Whether the difference is worth the extra £s is a personal decision.
