Hello from South Yorkshire

Hello Everyone,

I've been using an EM10 mk2 for about a year now alongside a Nikon D75O.
I mainly bought it so I don't have to carry the FF camera about when I'm on holiday and now I like it so much the Nikon hardly ever gets used.

Be good to see what you're all up to on this forum.

Cheers for now,

Pete

Welcome from me too, from your next door county (Notts). Fascinated to hear you're favouring E-M10 over full frame Nikon. Is portability your main reason What lens(es) I wonder? And for what sort of photography?

I seem to have developed a liking for old Four thirds lenses on OMD: 12-60 & 50-200, which rather undermines the compactness rationale, but can give pretty good image quality at an affordable price.

Re: Hello from South Yorkshire

Welcome from a fellow defector from FF to MFT. In my case partly from portability but mainly because of arthritis in my fingers and wrists which makes heavy gear so difficult for me.

Definitely portability. I'll take the EM10 out for general use when I'm out and about with my partner and the dogs and I can put it in my rucksack without thinking about weight. I have just the 17 and 45mm primes.

If l'm out on my own taking pics of Plants and Historic gardens and not walking too far, l'll usually take the D750 with 90mm macro and 70-200mm
