Hello from Wildwood

Hello everybody

I thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm a wildlife fanatic and keen amateur wildlife photographer based in the English Midlands. I've been using 4/3rds for over 10 years. Mostly I've been using my E-520 (prior that E-500 then E-510) coupled with my wonderful 300mm f2.8 and my EC-20. I also use the 50-200 with either my EC-20 or my EC-14. Recently I've decided I'd like to take the odd video clip alongside my still photography so I've bought an E-M1 Mk I to use with with my 4/3rds lenses. I've also bought an E-M10 Mk I together with a 75-300 as an ultra-light kit to take with me when portability is more important than ultimate image quality.

Good to see you've had some looong use out of your E520.

Also good to see you on here from downunder.

Re: Hello from Wildwood

Hello wildwood from another UK Midlands enthusiast. I'm also interested in wildlife, but something of a novice to hobby photography. Maybe our paths might cross sometime ...

Re: Hello from Wildwood

A Midlands meet up would be good as there are a lot of members in the area now. There hasn't been one for a very long time.

Re: Hello from Wildwood

Midlands? Would that be outside the comforting embrace of the M25?

I was born and brought up in Wolverhampton

You don't live in Lower Gornal, by any chance?
