Back in the fold!

Well, after a while in the wilderness with only a few Zuiko lenses for company, I'm now firmly back in the Olympus camera-owning fraternity.

I now have (again!) an E-P2, picked up as a bargain ex-demo from SRS.

Although I've owned one of these in the past, I'd forgotten just how solid they were. The E-P2 has that hewn-from-a-block feel about it, while the twin control wheels at the rear mean it's just that little easier for me to handle than an E-PL3 I tried.

I have the E-VF2, now I'm just waiting for my faux-leather skin to arrive from Korea to really give it a class feel.

Re: Back in the fold!

I knew you wouldn't be gone for long....

There is something indefinably nice about the PEN rangefinder style bodies v mini D-SLR style Panny bodies.

Some day we'll get the Panasonic GX1/PEN style body with flip screen and built in EVF without losing the form factor...

Re: Back in the fold!

I love the ergonomics and image quality of my Panasonics, but there's nothing to beat the build quality of Olympus.
