50mm Kamlan F1.1

This looks to be an interesting lens, but I wonder about the optical quality.

Re: 50mm Kamlan F1.1

I wonder about the copy-writing quality - lots of references to APSC and thatís a de-logoed Fuji itís mounted to...

5 elements in 5 groups also isnít very optimistic I think.

Thanks for that.
It must be said that the comments on the m4/3 version, although possibly correct, are theoretically based and not on an actual test.

Does anyone know exactly what this means (I think it’s lost in the translation, and he’s probably saying the 7Artisans is better than the others): “When it comes to overall performance in terms of straight up sharpness, color and contrast and micro-contrast, I prefer it to the Helios 44-2 or Industar 50-2 in this regard. Or even the new 7Artisans 55mm f1.4, which is fast enough while producing much better results for the same price. Review coming soon.”
