Money on a White Bellied Sea Eagle

This bird was hunting over the sea. I did get sight of its white underbelly and wings.....

Unsure of my ID of this bird. It sung a really beautiful song, which (believe it or not) I was able to whistle back to it. It came down the tree to see what idiot was trying to copy him....very plain bird, but a true singer.

When Ross is back he will do an ID for me.....TIA...

??Grey Shrike-Thrush??
I haven't seen these birds around here but it wouldn't be the White Breasted Robin as they are only known around south east coast of Western Australia, but it certainly looks like it is the Grey Shrike-Thrush & they are known widely all through the eastern half of Australia & across the top as well.

A lovely captured moment.
They are certainly cheeky birds, & noisy. We definitely know when the Rainbow Lorikeets are here.

Brown stream caused by tannins leached from tree bark as it flows through forest. Wonderful new bird pics.

Wombats are seen in the Video Slot. They were around at dusk, and photos were unsatisfactory. So I video'd them with the Em1 ii, which got really good "footage". As its 4K, I may well be able to get some jpegs from the video...

Thanks Phill……………..

The photo was "dragged" out of the video. Not pin sharp, but still quite a good photo...

Re: First morning in Oz Sunrise...

Would appear to be a sub species of those we see down south, Mark. this from my Tasmanian archives (2006)

You've managed to capture a whole bunch of birds that I've never seen nor heard of ... shame on me! Anyways, glad you were able to bring home such a superbly shot collection of Aussie birds. As you seem to like Oz so much, why not consider migration? You have the yacht, be sure to sail in undetected by border security else you'll wind up as an illegal immigrant (boat person) in border detention on Naru - you could claim refugee status from Brexit and we may let you in!

Re: First morning in Oz Sunrise...

Thanks Mark, my late parents lived there since 1970 ish, and my sister lives there near Wyong. I stayed behind in the UK for various reasons, probably to my regret now. All my kids and grand kids live which makes the break a bit hard...……...We will just keep visiting every couple of years as long as we can afford it, and can take that 24 hour flight...…….. mainly to get those colourful birdie pics...

Great picture of the Tasmanian Wombat by the way...…….
