'The body is willing but the mind is weak'
In my case the bank balance has helped keep the mind under control. There's no way I can get all the lenses there that look interesting - and they didn't even include their 24mm probe lens...

It does look quite likely that one of these will be my next new lens - it's just the juries out as to which one.

It seems that it is no longer "new".

On the positive (budget) side, you don't need any of the video ones for stills.

Some interesting stuff there, if I can afford the 12mm or the 9mm I might be tempted but only time will tell

Re: Laowa Lenses

The 9mm F/2.8 MFT looks promising... but then so did the 7.5mm F/2 MFT until they disclosed the price. The latter is still over £500 on a well known shopping site and I got the Olympus 7-14mm for not much more from a forum member.

Mine cost me £398.64 by direct purchase.

Re: Laowa Lenses

Laowa is now taking preorders for the 10-18mm, full frame, but it is only in Sony-E mount. The price I have just been quoted is $849. I have an A7R, which I bought mainly for wide-angle shots, so will consider it, maybe not as a preorder.

Re: Laowa Lenses

They had a stand at last year's Photography Show at the NEC where I got my 7.5 f2 for £100 less than I could find it anywhere else (or since).

I just placed my order and should get the free filter holder.

Having looked at alternatives, and then at preview reviews, it seemd the only way to go for FF Sony E.

A few days ago, dispatch was going to be late November but it is now December. The usual Laowa story for new launch lenses!
