Last Roses of Autumn

This early prototype A380 Airbus design was actually scrapped before the project got off the ground.
It was originally conceived to withstand heavy landings in Australian outback conditions.

This experimental vehicle was designed to levitate and move sideways into tight parking situations.
Angry investors lost millions on this project, the CEO of the development company is still in prison
after misappropriating company funds and for having made hay while the sun shines.

However, this Australian designed 2 horsepower vehicle was extremely economical to run and it never got tired.
It was affectionately known as the "GG" and was the forerunner to the iconic two-seater Goggomobil Dart.

Re: Last Roses of Autumn

We are looking forward to our roses here. Too early yet. I can almost get the sent of the yellow rose just looking at it.

Re: Last Roses of Autumn

Yesterday, a balmy autumn afternoon; Tina and I took our new cams for a drive to the tiny village of Milawa that is not far from home.
Had lunch at the bakery and forgot to take the obligatory pic of the gourmet pepper steak pies - well life isn't all moonlight and roses.

Between us we shared two lenses, the 14-150mm ED, and the 12-40mm PRO
These two images reveal the differences at their full reach. (exif intact)

14-150mm ED

12-40mm PRO

Mark,

I am surprised to say it, but I prefer the shot from the 14-150 to the 12-40. Being zoomed in a bit further gives it a nicer "feel".

Re: Last Roses of Autumn

Larry,

Yes, for this subject and in this instance, I agree.
Personally, I can see no difference at all in their IQ.

Yes, I agree. The more oof background helps it a lot as well for me.
