Panasonic gx vario 12-32mm

Has anyone tried this lens? Just wondered how it compared to the Olympus 14-42 pancake.

I tried both and much preferred the 12-32. Sharper, smaller, faster and easier zooming. It's a fantastic lens for the price:

Re: Panasonic gx vario 12-32mm

Thanks for that, Paul. I'm looking to use it on an E-P5 as a 'go anywhere' lens that's not too bulky. This looks as if it fits the bill. I know it's cheeky but have you any more examples you could show.

Great shot by the way.

Re: Panasonic gx vario 12-32mm

I'll dig some out Paul. Pairing with the E-P5 would be a great idea.

PS - I see you live on the Wirral. I'm an ex-scouser myself and my sister lived for many years in Prenton. Where exactly are you?

Ffordes have a Panny 12-32 for 179. I'm very tempted, unless some kind soul here can do better

I live in Saughall Massie at the moment but may be moving soon.

Hi Paul

Did you get the 12-32 lens and, if so, what do you think of it?

Thanks

Mark

Re: Panasonic gx vario 12-32mm

Hi Mark,

I did get the 12-32 but not from Ffordes. I bid for one off Flea bay and won. Just over 100 delivered. Love it, nice and compact and the IQ is excellent. Would I recommend one? Yes I would. Are you after one yourself?

I got one to go with my Pen. Excellent performance and ridiculously small!

I originally bought it to go my Pen too but most of the time it's on my Panny GX1. A nice pocketable combo.
