Tiny Harvestman Through Laowa 25mm x2.5 to x5

Due to a long, hot drought, I have had difficulty in finding subjects for this lens since it arrived in May. I was looking for fungi under a rotting plank of wood on the ground when I saw two tiny (body length ca 4mm?) Harvestmen. One allowed a couple of shots and then ran away. The other stayed still. Images of the first were disappointing.

The other individual gave usable images. They are not my best of Harvestmen nor do they make my best macro stereos of them. However, they show potential of the lens, which was set at 2.5:1 and f11 then f16.

Olympus EM-1 (manual mode), Laowa 25mm f2.8 2.5x-5x ultra macro, f11 or f16, triple TTL flash hand-held.

The stereos are crosseye.

Nice pics from an interesting lens... I may be in the Far East in a few weeks and could be tempted at the right price. I note that there isn't a u4/3 mount - which mount and adapter are you using for your E-M1?

I had a few Nikon F/AI legacy lenses so my Laowa lenses are AI and I use AI adapters onto Sony E or m4/3. I have to say that I find more variation in the tightness of fit of the AI mounts that I ever did with OM. Be aware, the Nikon mounts twist on or off the opposite way to most others.
