Bits & Bobs The Black Country Museum

A few bits and bobs from the black country museum visit that took my eye.

I won't bore you with anymore promise.

Superbly processed and all of them very well seen - are you sure you're not turning into Snaarman?

Love these. Much better than the ones I took back in July.

Re: Bits & Bobs The Black Country Museum

I've enjoyed all your shots from the Black Country Museum immensely Paul. These "living museums" are a wonderful way of presenting our history and provide a great resource for someone like you with an "eye for a scene" (even if one eye is gammy at the moment ).

Many thanks for sharing all of them.

Re: Bits & Bobs The Black Country Museum

Excellent photography, both in terms of captures and PP. B/W processing is absolutely stunning in my humble opinion.
Please bore us with more of this, or anything else you care to post.

Re: Bits & Bobs The Black Country Museum

When I was a little kid my dad owned a tobacconists shop and there are very few brands on that shelf that I don't recognise, or for that matter very few that I didn't sample, including Henri Wintermans cigars! He also had a National cash register that I soon learnt to withdraw cash from to buy milkshakes and cakes from the Milk Bar next door!

Re: Bits & Bobs The Black Country Museum

Lovely shots Paul. Great composition all and the monochrome processing is both highly suitable for the subjects and beautifully executed. I feel almost as if they have been painted with black butter!!

Re: Bits & Bobs The Black Country Museum

As usual Paul, a great series of images. The spot-on processing makes these quite timeless.
