Monsal Dale, Derbyshire Peak District

Had a lovely day out this week in Monsal Dale and thought I'd share my photos from there.

Sorry it's a bit pic heavy

1. This is a very well known scene in Derbyshire and just about everybody and his dog will have taken this picture. Hopefully you'll agree for a very good reason.

It's meant to be - this is a photography forum.

An excellent set, too, with some real crackers. Also a very enjoyable trip down memory lane for me. Thanks for posting.

I don't mind the number of shots in one post either, especially when they are this good. I've taken a few there too but never got any as good as you did, they are real postcard quality.

Re: Monsal Dale, Derbyshire Peak District

Superb series giving a great perspective of this location with a pleasing variety of compositions/styles.

As others have said quantity is not a problem, especially when the quality is this good.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Monsal Dale, Derbyshire Peak District

Thanks for all the positive feedback, it's really appreciated. It was my first 'proper' outing with the 9-18mm and I'm really glad I went with this lens rather than the 12mm. The 12mm might have better IQ but I found the flexibility of the 9-18mm invaluable
