All on One Head

Energetic business this photography, the chase after subjects, the choice of angle.

E-3, 50-200, ec1.4

Great pictures Nick, especially number 1. Think I would be tempted to get rid of the green stem on the left and the brown/green one as well but even so lovely colour and capture.

Re: All on One Head

All very good captures and I also think number one stands out

The 50-200 plus EC-14 looks like a very nice combination for macro work. I'm hoping to get an EC-14 in time for the holiday season.

Cheers,

JohnGG

Re: All on One Head

Scapula John - it is of course the glorious flower head that really makes these shots, hmm - as for cloning out those stems - that's a fairly big clone to do, are they really that distracting?

JohnGG, the 50-200 is a gloriously sharp lens whether used with the ec1.4 or on its own, not sure I'd call it an ideal macro combination as you feel that you are literally waving a hammer about to squash a bug, but it certainly does the job.

Thanks

Nick
