Affinity Photo Raw Processing - Solved

I'm trying to process this photo in Affinity Photo as Lightroom doesn't yet support E-M1 II raw files.

I want to crop it and apply the following edits (I have this as a Lightroom preset) so that I can print it out:

Temperature +19
Tint -2
Highlights -18
Shadows +58
Whites +21
Blacks 0
Clarity -22
Tone curve highlights -11 and darks -8
Hue orange +11, blue -7
Saturation red -11, orange -11, magenta -11
Luminance red +3, orange +9
Sharpening +22 (mask +22)
Noise luminance 22 (detail 50), colour 44 (detail 50, smooth 50)
Vignette -33 (midpoint 40, feather 50)

I can't seem to find some these settings in Affinity (I have only just started to use it this week). Are there any experts that can point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Amanda

Re: Affinity Photo Raw Processing

I've started playing with Affinity Photo and it's much more similar to Photoshop than it is to Lightroom, e.g. it has layers, and is generally much more powerful.

I'm not sure that there is any way of mapping the Lightroom settings. The numbers are arbitrary in any case.

I can only suggest trial and error, sadly.

There are a good set of tutorial videos at https://affinity.serif.com/forum/ind...deo-tutorials/ and the help built in to the app is searchable.

Re: Affinity Photo Raw Processing

I'm finding the learning curve incredibly steep but there's no doubt that Affinity Photo is an impressive and powerful piece of software, especially at the price! The Develop persona has tabs for colour, noise, lens adjustments etc but as Steve says I think it will be trial and error matching the settings to Lightroom. Keep us posted with developments (no pun intended!)

Lightroom 6 does support them.

Yes Lightroom 6.8 does support MKII files but not the high res files yet.

Re: Affinity Photo Raw Processing

If you have a genuine registered copy of 4 or 5 then you can upgrade to 6 for 59 with Adobe directly.

Re: Affinity Photo Raw Processing

I am trying out Affinity which looks pretty good though it is still under development. The video tutorials are quite good but I really prefer a printed manual with a good index so that I can look things up. So far there seems to be a dearth of written material on Affinity. Does anyone know of any?

Isn't the High res file just an large JPEG ? Almost anything should edit that

BTW I've also been trying Affinity. it does have has a few nice features and could work on my old e-500 files but the noise reduction was "non impressive". HDR Merge was OK though so I'll keep it installed and have some more goes with it

Regards
Andy

I have mine set to 1 50MF + RAW which produces 3 files; a jpg (8160 x 6120) a ORF RAW (10368 x 7776) and a ORI RAW (5184 x 3888). Only OV3 can see these at the moment as far as I know.
