Olympus FL-36R as a command flash?

Can anyone confirm if the Olympus FL-36R can be used on-camera as the 'command' (or master) flash in a multi-flash RC setup? There is no mention of this that I can find in the Olympus instruction manual.
Ditto for the Metz 26 AF-1 (as far as I can gather it will not act as a 'command' flash but ever hopeful someone has tried, and it works).
I know the tiny clip-on flash supplied with the E-M1 (FL-LM2) works as a 'command' flash but I need something with a regular hot-shoe fitting that will do the job.
Failing both of the above can anyone recommend a flash with a regular hot shoe that will work as a 'command' flash on an E-M1 body, or does all the command data communication go through the accessory port, making it impossible to use anything but the FL-LM2?
Thanks

Unfortunately it's not until you get up to the FL-600R that you get the "Command" function.

You may want to look at something like the Cactus Radio Trigger.

Thanks
That, or something like it, is my fallback if I can't use a hot shoe flash; but it is not as convenient, and yet another thing to go wrong.
Evidently the Metz 64 AF-1 will do the job but at 350+ it is beyond my budget.

I use these very effectively:

But they are only manual. However sometimes "Old School" techniques work.
