Flikr, how to copy the BBcode on an iPad.

Tap on the BBCode in the box once, it will flash grey once.

Then with two fingers at the 'same time' tap on the same BBcode in the box and iOS will select the entire text automatically and provide a 'copy' request.

It works for me....

Re: Flikr, how to copy the BBcode on an iPad.

I know about the two finger salute, but I haven't tried two fingers for copying the BBcode (from the gallery) on my iPad (I'm typing this from my pc laptop at the moment).

Install FlickStackr - much easier than using Safari and the Flickr web-site.

Re: Flikr, how to copy the BBcode on an iPad.

I don't use Flickr but I do use google chrome on my iPad for most of my browsing & Safari occasionally when I need to.

Re: Flikr, how to copy the BBcode on an iPad.

Updated my iPad OS to 9.2.1, and as a result it no longer acknowledges the two finger tap on the BB code. Anyone else had this, and/or know of a work around? (Gestures are turned on in settings.)

Are there any gotchas I should know about when it comes to FlickStackr. It offers in app purchase, but settings can be configured to prevent this happening. Anything else to be aware of?

Re: Flikr, how to copy the BBcode on an iPad.

The free version does nearly all the paid version does. Main limitation is that it won't show photos older than some limit (forgotten now how long that is). The paid version is fairly cheap though. I no longer have an iPad (now using a Win 10 tablet), but FlickStackr was one of only two apps I ever bought for it. The other was Mobel - a bell-ringing simulator/trainer.
