Now this is what I call a bargain !

I recently said that '4/3' lenses surely could not fall further, well it seems I was wrong ......... bloody hell this is a BARGAIN ! If I had not spent so much on M4/3 of late I would be tempted myself.

Oh, click through the images and you will see it's a SWD version too

So here's a heads-up for anyone interested ...... go grab a seriously good bargain

Well worth keeping one if you have one already.

Re: Now this is what I call a bargain !

I sold my copy boxed, to fund a 40-150mm I do miss the extra reach and it is a lovely lens.

There is possibly a case for snapping some of these lenses up if you have an E-M1 and adapter.

There have been a couple of cheap 12-60s and 14-54s.

I am keeping an eye out to see if any bargain Pana Leica 14-150s come up...

That's a relief, I've already got a native lens covering that focal range. It won't be as fast, and probably not as good, but it's lighter & I can't justify getting another.

I should be able to keep temptation under control for once.

Hi Mal,

I agree and had I not just bought the M4/3 Pro 300mm & 40/150 +TC I would have 'kept mum' and done just that

It's a heck of a lot of top quality glass for the money and anyone on a budget should give such lenses serious consideration.

That's because they sold it this morning Harold.

It was a 'mint' 50-200 SWD complete with hood and case for 229.00

I knew it would fly off of their shelves at that price.

Re: Now this is what I call a bargain !

There was a 50-200 at Norwich for that price and had been there for the last week or so (checking now it has disappeared) - but I could have sworn that one was a MK1. They were the same shop that had the 2x SWD at 279, and I did buy one of those.

So definitely a bargain if a SWD version got that low!

Yes SWD it was ( blue ring ), it first appeared yesterday afternoon and at 229 I am not in the least bit surprised it had gone by early this morning.
