Re: ISO 3200 on the E-1?
I'm delighted to find that Affinity Photo can process the raw files from my old E-300, and it does a good job of it too. There's a good chance it will open E-1 raw files as well.

Re: ISO 3200 on the E-1?
It could open my E500 files and the UI isn't bad, but I'm not impressed with the NR. It's not a patch on DXO so ill go back to ACR if I need to reprocess one of those old files

Re: ISO 3200 on the E-1?
I really need to explore a new workflow. I still use RAWshooter for the basics on the E-1 files and then throw TIFFs into PS, but I feel I'm missing out on more recent advances!

Re: ISO 3200 on the E-1?
I use the latest version of lightroom and my E1 files scrub up nicely at 1600 & 3200...after they are converted in lightroom to DNG.

Re: ISO 3200 on the E-1?
I used to use RawShooter Essentials back in the day but OV3, ACR and Affinity all do a better job on my E-300 files now.

Re: ISO 3200 on the E-1?
This shot was edited in PS CS3 and ACR 4.5 back in 2008 with much fiddling
https://www.flickr.com/photos/bruce-clarke/2646496770/ Last March, I had another go at the E-1 Raw in LR 6.9 (before the Classic nonsense!) They don't look that different small, but if you grab the 1600s, LR has got a lot more fine detail out of it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/bruce-clarke/33495583055/ I've still got a load of unedited E DSLR shots from years ago, so glad I waited! |
