5-Axis Sync IS

Hi there

I'd like to seek clarification from other adopters of the E-M1 Mk II + 12-100 mm PRO lens in respect of the highly promoted above topic.

Am I correct in assuming that to achieve this function you just need to have the camera set to its default 'S-IS AUTO' and the lens set to 'IS-ON'?

Thanks
Graham

Re: 5-Axis Sync IS

Yes, that is my understanding. The lens IS setting in the menu relates to non Olympus lenses only.

Re: 5-Axis Sync IS

Graham,
According to the 12-100 User Manual:
IS switch = ON Stabilizing functions in the lens & camera operate. The IS operates according to the IS setting in the camera.
IS switch = OFF Stabilizing functions in both the lens and camera are off.

Hope this clarifies the matter.
