E-M5 mk II focus bracketing via OI Share?

I don't seem to be able to get Focus Bracketing to work via Remote Control im OI Share. Has anyone had this working?

I have had this working on my E-M1. You need to have the OI Share app set to "Remote Shutter" rather than "Live View".

In the app, go to:

Settings (the cog wheel at top right),
Remote Control
Mode
Remote shutter

After this, the remote control of the app should behave in the same way as a wired remote control and you should find you are able to do focus stacking.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Stephen, I suspected that would be the case (should have tried it myself really).

However, it isn't what I need. I want to use Remote Control for the Live View feature, it's brilliant for plant/fungi macro work when I use an old Nexus 7" tablet I have.

I haven't figured out a way to get the OI Share "Live View" remote to trigger focus bracketing.

Olympus Capture can do it but you need a laptop/notebook and a cable which isn't so convenient in the field.

Yes, seems a strange omission.

I tried to have a look at the manual from within the app, it immediately disconnects the WiFi whenever you select a menu option . Bit of a major bug!
