Leitz Photar 50mm 2.8

One of the classic macro lenses.

I used my Leitz Photar 50mm 2.8 on 60mm extension, on a tripod with antishock delay, f5.6, ISO 200. I shot a stack of 15 frames (ca 0.4mm steps) Zerene Pmax, followed by Topaz.

The white stems were about 2mm long.

Thanks Harold, I keep saying I should put my OM 38mm macro to use, shots like yours encourage me to actually do it.

Thanks everyone.

David,

The 38 is one of the lenses favoured by macro stacking specialists, mostly at f2.8.

The stacking does need some work but I have not used zerene but myself.
