Question LR Focus Point Viewer (plugin)- Is there something for Olympus?

This should be interesting & useful for LR users. But sadly only for a Nikon camera.
Open source Lightroom plugin Focus Point Viewer highlights active focus points as seen on DPReview.

It would be great if there was something in OV3 that show us the AF points.

The data is in exif, so it should be a very easy for Olympus to do.

If enough people request it, they may just do it.

Re: LR Focus Point Viewer (plugin)

I found this plugin a couple of weeks ago and put adding Olympus support on my to do list. However, a friend pointed out to me today that Olympus support is now available thanks to another contributor to the project.

Re: LR Focus Point Viewer (plugin)

I'm obviously doing something wrong, as it's showing as enabled and running in the plug in manager, but not visible in the plug in extras menu, have restarted Lightroom to no avail...

I hadn't got around to trying it as yet, but when I went to download it, I see it only supports Mac at the moment, so I can't help. Sorry.

Re: LR Focus Point Viewer (plugin)

I have it working, downside is that it is a single picture at a time, so it is select an image then go Library, Plugin Extras, Show Focus point.

Then you have to do it all again for the next image - it is not a function that is active until stopped as the equivalent function in Aperture was always present until disabled

Re: LR Focus Point Viewer (plugin)

Windows support is now fixed... I get the item in the menu as described but don't see any focus points (on my E-M1). I think this is because I generally use center focus (ie they camera isn't choosing for me). I'll have to experiment when I have some time.

Can you post the link for Windows please? I've got a github link, but it seems only to be a Mac version.

Thanks,

Re: LR Focus Point Viewer (plugin)

Turns out that there were other problems with the windows version. I go back to github every now and then but the problem isn't resolved 😭
