ONE Macro Hibiscus

I took this the other day, in the "Jungle" its hot, dark (due to dense green foliage) and steamy in the Victorian Glasshouses at Staunton Park

It may not look much here, but the detail is amazing - especially, given I was playing about with settings.

It is OOC and just resized down for here but BIGGER on Flickr. I have to say I am quite impressed with this little camera

If you GOTO Flickr and DOUBLE CLICK on the flower - Flickr goes to full screen - then you can Pause and pixel peep at the velvet texture of the pink petals and the detail of the stamen

Re: ONE Macro Hibiscus

Saw this on Flickr. It's crystal-clear.

(BTW the aperture appears to be f4.5)

Re: ONE Macro Hibiscus

This is very stunning and you have got the depth of field just right and using natural light.

Re: ONE Macro Hibiscus

Haven't had the chance to try the EM-1 with my 60mm macro yet but your image is making me itch to get the One back and have a go, nice work Chevvy

(I rate the images from my EM-5 + the 60mm macro as good as anything I got with my 7D + 100 f2.8 LIS canon macro, it is a stunning little tool)
