No problem Tom I'm in no rush. Had a few family issues recently hence not getting round to posting images. Let me know if you change your mind.

Re: Olympus E-M1 Mk1

I have an Mk1 body. All the gubbins, battery, CD, manual, flash, body cap, leads and strap. Only 14208 shutter actuations. Plus 4 spare pro batteries.
A very clean example.
See here.http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=45620

I will throw in a 14-150mm Olympus lens with it. The lens has a chip out of the filter ring but it does NOT affect the performance. I will post a pic of the lens if you are interested.

I have the Mk 2 and three pro lenses, so don't need the Mk1 and 14-150mm lens.

Re: Olympus E-M1 Mk1

Tom-Tec, hope you don't mind be asking this question in your thread. If you do, I have no problem if you ask for it to be deleted.

Dave, slightly out of context I know but if possible, and with your experience of both models, could you tell me if the IBIS of the Mk2 is better in any way to the IBIS in the Mk1. I only ask because I am wondering about getting my wife a different cam because she has steadiness problems. (the cam she has now is only standard stab). If I do, it will be an Oly I just don't know which one to go for yet.

Thanks to both
Keith

I believe the MkII IBIS is about a stop better than the MkI's and it also gets an extra boost with the stabilised lenses. (not sure off-hand exactly which lenses or if the MkI also does this.)

As CJE wrote, about a stop better, and the AF is better too.

Re: Olympus E-M1 Mk1

Thank you Chris and Dave, much appreciated.

I did wonder if that was the case but it's always better to ask someone with first hand experience of such things.

It looks like she'll have to wait for the E-M5iii to appear to see how good that is ... and then see how it feels with the additional grip, (she hated the feel of the E-M10iii when she tried it without the grip). Otherwise it may just have to be save up time for another E-M1ii in the family

Oooops, so sorry, I forgot to say thank you to Tom-Tec who kindly PM'd me to say it was fine to ask my question. Cheers Tom
