Wrong EXIF date

How often do you look at the EXIF data Well I usually just copy it from flickr and paste it when someone ask for it.

It's a defish Samyang 7.5mm Fisheye. This lens does not have any electrical connections to the camera. So just out of curiosity, I had a look at the EXIF

LEICA 25/1.4, /1.4, 25.0 mm, 1/200s, ISO 200. How can this Lens with no contacts became a LEICA

What happen is that in H1.6 Lens Info Settings, I have set a LEICA 25/1.4 and It's checked.

It does not interfere with any lens that have contacts. it's when there is none, it takes the info that you have checked and writes it to your EXIF.

Re: Wrong EXIF date

Interesting Henry. I've never noticed that with mine. I wonder what I'd like mine to be
Nice shot by the way.

Re: Wrong EXIF date

It is likely in the added lists of lens data & somehow it was selected.

The following is a snip from that page.
