Probably a stupid question!
I am returning to Olympus and have just bought an OMD EM1-Mk ii from Park Cameras. Here's a photo of the battery charger I received in the box. I'm in the UK and can't work out how to charge the battery using this cable. Do I need to buy an adapter to allow me to plug the charger into my 3-pin wall socket? Many thanks!

Re: Probably a stupid question!
hello
If its a official Uk model you should have received two leads one european one UK with a 3 pin plug etc. I would ask Park to supply a lead if it was new purchase ? If preowned you should still be able to use it with a europe to UK adapter still worth asking Park cameras though Hope the above helps |

Re: Probably a stupid question!
It’s also a standard figure 8 connector on the charger end, lots of devices use these - do you have a spare from something else?
Having said that it should have come with the camera!

Re: Probably a stupid question!
Many thanks for the replies. It is a brand new camera and luckily Park Cameras are a few minutes walk from where I live! I'll be calling in tomorrow morning!

Re: Probably a stupid question!
That does sound odd - make sure you can register your camera for the UK/European benefits. I very much doubt Park is supplying grey imports; it's more likely to be a simple mistake, but best to check.

Re: Probably a stupid question!
Just phoned Park Cameras and they are going to give me the correct lead - I would hope so too after spending a fortune with them!

Re: Probably a stupid question!
Interesting - my e-m1 MkII/12-100 PRO kit came with this lead, and that was from London Camera Exchange. Yes, I could register it with Olympus. Luckily I was after a couple of weeks in a position to buy a second E-M1 MkII body (just the body, and again from LCE), but that came with the proper lead/plug. Go figure...
