Godox Tt350o

Im thinking of buying the Godox TT350o for my em-5 mk1. Dont need anything too powerful since itll probably used mainly for family indoors stuff. Has anyone tried one, theyre about 65 and TTL and HSS and seem good vfm?

Re: Godox Tt350o

I haven't tried it, however reading the manual, ttl seems only to be available with the wireless sender.
Off camera optical firing is available in manual mode.
I don't have a lot of experience with flash but am very pleased with the results so far

Re: Godox Tt350o

I was thinking of getting it too as a standby for my Olympus FL600-R, which has lost its swivel function. But I am a bit wary because 69 seems rather too good for a TTL flashgun with a GN of 35, auto zoom and bounce/swivel function. Is there a catch?

More specifically, I have a couple of questions:

1. How is the build quality compared with the FL600-R or the Nissin i40? Is the feel too "cheap and plasticky"? I'd hate that.

2. Is there really a swivel facility? Does it work well.

UPDATE I decided to get it from Amazon Prime anyway and it arrived just now. First impressions are very good. Build quality seems excellent for the price, not at all the tacky feel that I expected. The bounce-swivel action is well damped and has a good feel to it. One really great feature is the locking nut to the hot shoe, something that both Olympus FL600-R and Nissin i40 lack; I prefer this gizmo myself (Metz flashguns use them). It came with a flash stand, lens cloth, colour filters and a small manual - all for 69! I will test it out this afternoon and it it works well too, this probably would be the best value photo kit that I ever purchased.

I'll probably use it as a standby flashgun for the others but if the performance is good, it might replace the overpriced and rather unreliable Olympus FL600-R flashgun that has already had a couple of problems and the head still will not swivel.

Re: Godox Tt350o

I you have one TT on the camera then a second ( or 3rd) can be used as a remote iTTL as they have the Tx Rx built in
