Lakes photo trip with Alf?

I think most of us appreciate Alf's stunning landscapes of the Lakes. His post earlier this week with shots from this year prompted me to wonder if he'd be up for hosting a little outing to share some of his expertise. Thankfully, he responded positively to my suggestion - hence this thread.

So, would anyone be interested? I think it would be best to do something before the summer (so before mid March I'd say), or else in the Autumn. There's lots of planning to be done, but if you could all let me know your thoughts, then we can then see if something could be setup.

Thanks!

Re: Lakes photo trip with Alf?

This sounds fantastic and something I’d love to do.
However with serious health issues in my family I can’t commit to anything I’m afraid. I assume you’re thinking about multiple days Paul? The most I could hope for is just driving up for a day trip, but even then stuff like this is on a day by day basis at home.

Re: Lakes photo trip with Alf?

The only time I am available in March at the moment is 8th to 10th.
I have to check at work tomorrow to see if I have to work that weekend.

Re: Lakes photo trip with Alf?

Sounds like a great idea - I had a great time (despite the weather) when I last visited, which was too long ago!

Re: Lakes photo trip with Alf?

Nice idea - many thanks, Alf, and Paul.
I almost certainly couldn’t do March since I’m already away a lot, but depending on the date the autumn might work.

Be nice to do it, but March is busy for me too. Weather is a thought...…….

I'd love to, but may not be able to depending on date and domestic negotiations ...
