MC14 mount

My technique has obviously let down the MC14 as my left hand often leaves the lens, the mount is now what an engineer would call a rattling fit.

There's probably less than 0.1mm movement and images seem to be consistently sharp, so do I need to worry about this?

All the lenses are nice and tight, so it's the converter not the body!

Re: MC14 mount

I don't think you should have any movement, it may affect the weather sealing.

I've been using my MC-14 for circa three years, it still fits as it should.

If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend checking that the screws on the MC-14 are tight or, if it's still under warranty, send it to Olympus for repair.

Good call, turns out I had a screw loose (well 16 actually!)

Re: MC14 mount

MC14 screws do seem to come loose; it's a recognised issue.
Nobody here is otherwise affected!

I hope the fit is better.

Glad I could help.
