Hang in there you still could be ok. They have been on eBay for a long time and have a good track record.

Had further update with tracking info so fingers crossed to be fair they have messaged confirming everything ok and it being posted with DPD.

RE hood the official olympus one seems good but bit more pricey than the JJC. These are the only 2 i heard of as a retractable one doesn't seem possible.

I got a JJC retractable hood for my 60mm Macro. It works well.

Plus they threw in a free cleaning cloth.

Re: Kacha ebay shop

The lens should be absolutely clear of any "particles"

This does not sound good...

Re: Kacha ebay shop

The particles can only have come from inside the lens (unless it has been tampered with) so I would be concerned that it had been knocked sufficiently hard enough to loosen something?

its almost like a minute air bubble in the glass or similar really hard to describe opened a dispute on ebay as didn't get a reply, it could also be a metal fragment or similar who knows. It did come in only one layer of bubble wrap, which i found hard to believe

I'm sure mine will work out ok as long as I get an exchange or refund in the end just the price you pay for not using someone like SRS i guess.
