Winter Bark

Rather taken with the appearance of the bark on some of the trees at the Hillier Gardens yesterday.

1. Birch


2. Eucalyptus


3. Cherry

I think a lot of people don't notice the bark on trees David, and these are lovely.

I like the abstractness of the second one. Nice on its own, and it could be used as a background/overlay for something - not sure what, though!
