Spotted Insect....I.D. please....

There's a lot of weeds between the factories where I work and I just HAD to go and get some air last evening as it was stifling inside.
All of a sudden I noticed I had the 520 with 105 in my hand so took a few hand held snaps....this was about 2-3mm only and would not stay still.
I came back later with the tripod and couldn't find any again.
A huge crop so not the best....

Look an interesting creature but I'm afraid I haven't a clue what it is!

A "Pictured wing" fly, possibly one of the Trypetidae at a guess.

One of the fruit fly tephritidae? A pain to identify as all sources are hopeless. A shame as many pictured-wing flys are worthy of more attention. I'm sure i have that specific one in a book somewhere.
