Unwelcome ghost

Ensco 72 on the horizon.



Over ten miles away with the Panasonic 100-300 lens. We think it is ugly, I imagine those in Bournemouth are even less impressed.

If it is going to be in the vicinity I think it probably is best to have it as you have shown it, vague and on the horizon. It's an uglier brute up close:

Thanks for the praise. The rig is a long long way from us so getting any sort of shot depends on the atmospherics.

I'm impressed with the results from that Panasonic lens, as long as you stop at 250mm. The general view is that it gets soft at the 300mm end..
